Description
Poutama Quilt So many layouts for one simple block!
One simple block makes so many great layouts. I needed help deciding which layout to choose.
poutama – Māori
1. (noun) stepped pattern of tukutuku panels and woven mats – symbolizing genealogies and also the various levels of learning and intellectual achievement. Some say they represent the steps which Tāne-o-te-wānanga ascended to the topmost realm in his quest for superior knowledge and religion.
Fabric Cutting:
From the 10″ squares, cut 4-2 1/2″ strips.
From 2 of those strips, cut them in half (5″ strips)
From the FOLDED white jelly roll strip, cut 2 @ 4 1/2″ X 2 1/2″
cut 2 @ 2 1/2″ X 2 1/2″
You will receive a downloadable PDF in your email after checkout.
